My GS is very strong already for 7 months old. Trying to teach him how to walk on a leash, was physically impossible for me. He is so strong already, and still distracted very easily. I reviewed many many harnesses. Many professionals said GS should not be placed in harnesses. I ordered the tactical harness and leash together. I had full control of him and was able to keep him focused and moving much easier. We did 2 miles on our first walk with the harness/leash combo
I absolutely love this leash. My sisters dog is a big puller (he’s still a puppy) and with the bungee type leash, it takes home more energy to pull. So when he tries to pull, he’ll feel the resistance of the leash and he stops. I also love the handle near the clip because he loves to run after squirrels so when I’m walking him and see a squirrel I grab onto that part of the leash and he stays right at my side.
Great leash. Very functional and heavy duty. Loved the handle for when you want to keep your pup close. Great price.
It has a padded handle as well so it’s nice and soft in your hand. It’s stretchy so it’s much more gentle on my wrist in which I have carpal tunnel in. My dog has figured out the difference in tension so it almost effortlessly trains him to loose leash walk as he steps back when he feels the tension get tighter. The clip is fairly solid and holds up well with a 70lbs knucklehead. Overall. I’m happy with it.
Very good and durable leash
This is a great comfortable leash. The extra handle to bring them up short when necessary is convenient without a lot of extra bulk. Used these for walking our labs through Acadia with no issues.
Thank you! I will never be without one of these! My 100 pound dog can no longer yank me off my feet! The little bit of shock absorbing stretch has taken the fear out of taking her for a potty walk!

I was looking for a leash a few months ago for a new dog who was big and very strong and who I expected to be a little wild until we could get her trained and wanted something sturdy that would allow us to have good control. I found this and it's been perfect. So much so that we bought this second one when we adopted again recently. The handles are both padded which is a nice feature and the second handle is really convenient when walking a large dog.
